HILTI PROFIS Connect

The PC Software "HILTI PROFIS Connect" connects the HILTI devices Tachymeter POS 15 and Tachymeter POS 18 with CAD systems as easy as possible. The Software allows transferring 3D points from the total station to the CAD system and sending 3D points from the CAD system to the device.

Transferring points to the CAD system can be used for direct drawing in the CAD system using the total station. As an example: you start the "create walls" function in the CAD system, then you can easily draw the walls by tracing the room corners with the total station. The other way (from the total station to the CAD system) allows to locate points from the CAD system in the real environment.
The software is very easy to use as it requires almost no settings. The total station, which is connected to the PC via the USB interface, is automatically found. Some CAD systems have direct optimized connections, but additional CAD systems can be manually connected in a simple manner, if these provide input via the keyboard.
The PROFIS Connect software was developed for HILTI in the end of 2014 by GEM Team Solutions in cooperation with the HILTI development team of the device software. In summer of 2015 the version 1.1 was released that contained support to additional CAD systems and the possibility to manually include additional CAD systems.

Die Software "PASCHAL-PLAN light 10.0" dient der Schalungsplanung in 2D und 3D. Die Applikation bietet sowohl eine komplette Bauhof- und Baustellenverwaltung im Modul Warehouse, als auch eine sehr einfache und intuitive Möglichkeit die für die Schalungsplanung notwendigen Grundrisse zu importieren oder zu zeichnen bzw. konstruieren, wobei hier sowohl unerfahrene als auch erfahrene CAD Anwender flüssig arbeiten können. Eine vollautomatische Schalungsplanung für Wände und Decken ist in dieser Applikation enthalten, der Anwender hat danach noch die Möglichkeit die Schalungslösung manuell zu beeinflussen. Die Software ist als Client Server Applikation konzipiert und kann sowohl über die Cloud bedient werden, als auch bei Kunden mit mehreren Benutzern im Intranet bereitgestellt werden. Mit der Einzelplatz-Installation ist die Software auch lokal verwendbar.

Die Applikation ist modular aufgebaut und besteht im wesentlichen aus 2 Modulen: Dem Modul Design, das von G.E.M. Team Solutions auf Basis der Deep Cloud Technologie entwickelt wurde, und Warehouse, dass Planitec bereitstellte. Das Modul Design sticht durch die leistungsfähige Grafik der Deep Cloud Technologie hervor, die selbst bei sehr großen Modellen eine flüssige Darstellung garantiert. Die optimierte Filtertechnologie erlaubt es dem Anwender durch Ausblendung nicht relevanter Geometrie immer den Überblick zu behalten, ohne eine explizite Steuerung.

In dieser Applikation wird konsequent auf little Building Information Modeling (BIM) gebaut, d.h. die Elemente in den Modellen sind logische Elemente wie Wände, Decken, Öffnungen, Schalelemente, etc. ... wobei die einzelnen Elemente alle notwendigen Eigenschaften wie Artikelnummer, Material, Abmessungen, etc.. .. enthalten. Das "little" steht dafür, dass nur die für die Schalungsplanung relevanten Daten gehalten und verwaltet werden.

Die Entwicklung von PASCHAL-PLAN light 10.0 startete Anfang 2011 zusammen mit der Entwicklung der Deep Cloud Technologie, wobei die Entwickler von G.E.M. Team Solutions sehr eng mit den Schalungs-spezialisten und dem Entwicklerteam von Planitec zusammen-arbeiteten. Im Herbst 2012 wurde die erste Version öffentlich vorgestellt und seit dieser Zeit wurde stetig die Software weiterentwickelt, wobei Erweiterungen, Verbesserungen und weitere Schalsysteme integriert wurden.

EnPROVE Projekt

GEM Team Solutions is among one of the 8 partners in the EnPROVE project. The objective of EnPROVE is to develop a software model for predicting the energy consumption of a specific building, with different scenarios implementing energy-efficient technologies and control solutions, based on actual measured performance and usage data of the building itself.     Short project description:

The objective of EnPROVE is to develop a software model for predicting the energy consumption of a specific building, with different scenarios implementing energy-efficient technologies and control solutions, based on actual measured performance and usage data of the building itself.
The key hypothesis of EnPROVE is that it is possible, from adequate gathering and assessing data on how a structure performs and is being used from an energy viewpoint, to build highly accurate and specific energy consumption models relevant for prediction of alternative scenarios.
The EnPROVE software tools will assess the energy-efficiency impact of alternative technologies for which available investment resources can be directed and, thus, support the decision maker finding the optimised set of energy-efficient solutions to be implemented. These results will be tailored to the actual building itself, through automated measurements of the building usage and energy efficiency. Technological solutions will include energy-reducing, -generating, and –storing options, and with user-defined criteria on resources and restrictions, will identify through new prediction algorithms when the return on investment will be realized.
By solving these problems, EnPROVE will be able to develop tools, interoperable with existing CAD or Facility Management tools, to model the energy consumption from monitored data, predict the performance of alternative scenarios and support the decision maker in finding the optimal point for the investment. Compared to current available energy auditing services and prediction tools, it is foreseen that EnPROVE will increase the cost-effectiveness of renovation investments by 15 to 30%.
These services will open new business opportunities for both construction companies that work on building renovation, as well as building management companies on long-term contracts. The application of the tools will be validated in two real buildings.
