After Autodesk, Inc. acquired Softdesk, he worked for 2 years as a CAD software developer for Autodesk, being a member of the team that developed the Autodesk® Architectural Desktop. Gamal has a diploma in computer science from the University of Kaiserslautern.

Following he worked as a consultant for Autodesk, Inc. developing the IFC interface for the Autodesk® Architectural Desktop. Eberhard has a diploma in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe.

Ralf Reichl joined the GEM Team on June 1st, 2001 as a software developer. Ralf develops CAD software on different systems for many years and in addition has several years' experience in computer graphics. Ralf has a diploma in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe.
Britta Jahn joined the GEM Team on February 1st, 2005. Her responsibilities at GEM are accounting and purchasing.
Britta is a qualified graduate in business management.
